Overpriced. Pictures look like higher category then actual.
Value for money is not that good, the personnel was very kind and warm. Must lower the price by 1/3
Value for money is not that good. The infrastructure itself may be better ( AC was old and kind of broken, the wires of the TV were hanging, old fridge etc. ) A strange mix between old and new everywhere in the hotel.
The personnel was nice and helping. The room has big comfy bed and nice bath.
Wi-Fi did not work properly in the room, only next to the pool.
Very close to a beautiful beach, the pool was small but ok for the kids, close by good restaurants. Very clean room, air conditioning, plenty of parking space, the breakfast is simple but enough for the day.
Best vacation ever!
All was great!
The hotel appears on the map not exactly where it really stands, for the rest it was a good journey.
For longer stays (>weekend), you are most likely better off with other choices in the area.
- the AC stops when you open the balcony door. The stop is pretty brutal for the machine (it just cuts the power) and on start you have to configure the AC manually again and wait for the compressor to start etc. They say it's because they care about the environment, but considering that there's no other usual "eco-friendly" policy there, I guess it's just to lower their electricity bill. They change the towels every day for example, without that classic text "put them on the ground if you are not using them anymore" you can find in a lot of other hotels. - The AC in the triple room we had (Z203) had also a broken vane (the swinging plastic) and it was a mess to find a decent position for it using the remote control. The fix for that (after I complained) was to insert 2 cartons in the unit to keep the vane opened, which resulted in a blocked ventilator and an almost dead unit. During summer, that's a real killer. Also, starting the AC and fiddling with with after every smoke brake on the balcony is really annoying. - no English instructions in the room (not for the phone, not for the safe, not for anything else), no stationary, no touristic info flyers (or something similar) - wifi internet did not work in any of the 9 days spent there (poor signal, frozen router) - no insect protection net on the balcony door, in an area where are a lot of insects - the triple room had the surface more similar to a "normal double one", which makes me believe the double ones are really small. - the shower was shaky and "repaired" with plastic zip-ties. The bathroom drain was sometimes pushing back the water/foam on the floor. The bathroom door required strength to close. - the room door knob did not function correctly from the outside, which meant we had to slam the door every time we left the room. I'm sure the family with a small baby near us didn't appreciate that much.
- decent parking - close to the beach - interesting interior design and a nice smell - decent receptionists, can cover a lot of subjects/questions - big balcony (triple room) - clean towels every day - good fridge that actually cools the stuff you put in it - comfy bed - enough electricity outlets to recharge gadgets (laptop, phones, battery, modem) - bathroom good ventilation - decent view on the rooms that offer that - Nea Roda is a good option for a chill vacation.
Good value for money
There was nothing negative.
We liked that the room stayed cool despite the heat. Great view, quiet place.
Very bad wi-fi.
Great location near great restaurants and very close to Voulitsa beach which is a must visit place if you are in Nea Roda. Good food at breakfast. Good cleaning service.
Screen Door is must!!
Screen door must be made for all door and window at the room. There are lots of mosquitos around the hotels area but hotel does not help guests for this problem. Hotel desk clerk advised us to buy mosquito repeller liquid from the market to struggle mosquito. I couldn't open the door during the period of my stay at the hotel, I prefered to feel sea breeze than conditioned air in the room.
Nice and quier place
There was a pool that was cleaned every day. The pool was closed during the hottest time of day. The beach was close by.
Place for relax
The bathroom is relatively small and quite uncomfortable. No mosquito net on the balcony door.
Nice hotel in a peaceful location. We had a spacious and panoramic view from the terrace. It should be noted that the bed was very comfortable, as well as the pillows. Very polite and responsive staff.
No lobby or pool bar, should be ordered at recrption and the receptionist prepares everything. The prices were too high for the hotel. The furniture was totally out of style and old. The whole hotel is old. Maybe should have the half of its price.
The personal was kind and smily.
